A Glimpse of the New Genesis

Most people approach the study of prophecy from the aspect of “when.” But what needs to guide our study is what Jesus had to say about His Second Coming. He gave two signs of His return – “the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel” and “as the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.” Regeneration is how one is born into God’s kingdom. The seed of the gospel is absolutely necessary for new life (new genesis). Satan has attempted to bury and destroy the seed for millennia. But no seed, no life! Not only are we born into the kingdom, but we are baptized into the King by the Holy Spirit at the same moment. The church is within the kingdom of God, but the church is not the kingdom of God.

God has brought Jew and Gentile together into one new man, the church. This mystery that was revealed by the apostle Paul was never referred in the Old Testament. God’s church will be snatched away in the fulness of time, and the dispensation of God’s grace for the Gentiles will be complete. Because of a period of tribulation coming on Israel, two-thirds of all Jews will die. Things at that time will be like it was in Noah’s day when God destroyed the earth by the Flood, but this time the earth will be destroyed by a flood of fire.  A remnant of Jews will be saved, and Jesus Christ will return to save this remnant and reign over a literal kingdom on a renewed earth for a thousand years. At the end of that thousand years, Satan will be destroyed, and we will dwell in a new heaven and new earth.
